Here's a video of Booboo Eboue as a young child in the Ivory Coast with his pet chicken. As you can see, he has been honing his superb fighting skills from a very young age.

He acted like a little bitch today, no one will deny that. But he is not the reason we lost this game. Let it go man.

Eboue is vastly overrated as a fullback. Great speed and crossing but very suspect defensively. Add to that his various antics. It's hilarious how people have been sucked into the hype and those that proclaim him only highlight their stupidity.

You may have a point there; maybe he is trying to emmulate Roberto Carlos and on occassion neglecting his defensive duties, but remember he is still young.

Nobody is doubting his potential. In fact one would be stupid to do so, but this is just another case of a young player getting too much hype and not realizing that he is still young and has a lot to work on. This kind of thing can also get to a player's head and it can certainly hinder his progress. So many young players nowadays are cocky and arrogant because as a result.

Isn't he 23 years old? If he cannot defend now then he never will.

A fullback who can defend and attack. Something neither Clichy nor Eboue can or ever will do.

Clichy is much better than Evra at attacking, I can think of only one or two situations Where Clichy is obviously bad defencively, given that he's better defencivly than Cole was at the same stage of development. Regardless C.Ronaldo is yet to get the better of him, despite having his best season to date.
Despite Evra's performance in this game, he's really isn't that great defencivly, he was definatly captain fantastic this game, don't get me wrong. But, game after game he lags behind Clichy.I think we both agree Evra is no Cole, dispite the fact that he's a ********. That being said Heinze (not sure if thats spelt correctly feel free to correct me) was a no go in a game of this pace. But, then again I surprised Larsson was able to go 80 minutes, amde a 35 year old Sheringham look like he was on cutches.
Eboue I'll admit has defencive failings, and other isssues which have been discussed endlesssly. Weither he has no desire to defend or simply can't I'm not sure, but he'll never be beat for pace, which in the english game is basically all wingers have (besides the obvious J.Coles and C.Ronaldos). No level headed Arsenal fan will argue Eboue's negatives, we simply choose to glaze over them when discussing him because we've talked about it to death and its just assumed knowledge. Real, and Juve are definatly no mugs when it comes to wing play, and I have no reservation about playing him against them again.

FA Cup 2004 Semifinal. Come again... and RE: Eboue, he A.Cole,Carlos are all crap and the same thing. So called defenders who cant defend and rely on their pace and attacking capabilities to look any worthwhile. I dont want to hear anything about C.Ronaldo and diving in the same sentence when they have Eboue on their squad. I''ll admit CRonaldo does dive sometimes but Eboue is jus disgraceful
