Rooney, he's one of the few that showed heart from beginning to end and bagged that long awaited goal. Too bad it was in a loss. Kudos to Evra and our backline (before we intemplated stupid tactics).

Evra by a mile. Had a spectacular game, highlighted by his cross for our goal. He's really made the LB position his with his all around play, I can't imagine us playing without him now.

Both of the goals we allowed came from his area, and he was indirectly responsible both times.

Exactly, while Evra is superb going up and he is fitting in better and better, he hasn't exactly shown that his defense has improved as much. He's hussling to get back and he is making ballsy tackles and clearances but he's not there yet. Don't get me wrong, he's awesome to have, I've always been a fan, let's just not overlook his flaws.

Rooney...had a good touch today and played with heart.

I thought Vidic looked good in a game where he was supposed to get run out of. If it weren't for Vida's quality in the air, we would probably have gotten beaten more than twice. My vote: Vida.

Just curious but why do so many of you guys think Ronaldo had a great game?

Seemed mostly invisible to me.

I thought that Rooney, Evra, Vidic, and Ferdinand had better games. Even Giggs seemed to do more.

Ronaldo had a good game, but so far, nobody has said he had a great game.

You're kidding right? Giggs had an absolute stinker of a match, I hate to say it but it's true.

What are you on, man? Ronaldo has one vote for today's game, and I don't even know if it was a regular who voted for him. But Ronaldo wasn't all that bad, at least not as bad as Giggsy. Giggs was poor.

Oh sorry. I thought the score line that was posted was the current voting for this match.

Obviously I didn't vote in the poll since I'm not a ManU fan.

VDS gave us chances early, he kept us in the game. It easily could have been 1-0 Arsenal at the half, which would have chanced the whole 2nd half.

I'm torn between Evra and Carrick for MOTM. Carrick continued doing well in midfield; he seems to be feeling more and more comfortable with each game. Evra was very good; and even when he wasn't perfect, he was IN THERE, making things happen. Honorable mentions: VDS did as well as could be expected and made some very good saves; Rio had some moments.

I'm very happy for Rooney that he got his goal, and I hope it will exorcise those no-scoring demons, but he didn't stand out for me other than the goal. Ronaldo didn't particularly stand out either. Neither was poor, just not MOTM quality today.

Actually I thought his defending was very very good today, only complaint I have is with him and Scholes over their confusion that lead to the Arse goal.

He was brilliant going forward as well. My MoM. Rooney was a very close second. This is the first time I've been impressed with his play on the wing. Glad to see him break his scoring duck as well.

I think Evra could cut out some crosses a little better.

I don't think any Utd player really stood out. It was a pretty good performance all round. I voted Vidic but several others could easily have had the vote. Inevitably our two man central midfield was going to find it difficult against Arsenal's four - which I guess was why Giggs spent so much time in the middle - but they battled manfully. The defence was sound throughout - Gary might have done better on the first goal and Vidic seemed to win all the headers but one

Good to see Rooney get his goal at last. When Leymann turned that shot over the top I thought "Here we go again" but Wayne finished clinically for the goal. He could easily have panicked with the luck he's been having.

For me, Alex lost this one :(
