you SOBs are awfully proud of yourselves...

A supporters club of a non-existant team...

I just hope this isn't the equivalent of the team which puts the champagne in the locker room before they have the game won...

Actually, I think it is the farthest thing from that. All of the people that I have talked with are committed to proving Philadelphia can sustain a team and have a passion for the sport. Folks that have contacted us via the membership form are a diverse group who are volunteering their time, team unseen, to further the goal of the city getting a team.

I am overwhelmed by the response that three websites and one email have generated to something that is untangible. People are talking about and are genuinely excited the possibility of MLS here.

We currently have over 40 interest form signups, only 5 or 6 of which are posters here. That is progress and goes against the assertation that the posters on this forum are the only ones talking about it.

You guys might want to take a look at this:

Wiki used to be a free for all, but they are starting to get more serious, especially with new topics.

Good thoughts, thanks. I agree this one, more than anything else, is borderline for now. We exist, but are we notable?

I don't want to sound bitter or jealous (ok I am) but do I get any recognizition on Wiki for at least coming up with the name Sons of Ben?

Seriously, who am I here, Rodney Dangerfield?

And, if you do, do you want to go golfing this weekend?

i like your thinking ... maybe, eventually, a little (or not so little) SoB golf outing could happen.
