O no they're arent' any fan bases that are smarter than others.

However, they are those that make absolute asses of themselves more often than others. DC leads that category going away led by their ridiculous moderators.

Someone rep him for me...

the above post is proof positive that true comic genius does exist here...

For the egregious grammatical and spelling errors committed in broad daylight? :p

I've gotta get off these pain killers. Looking over that post I want to kick my own ass, shit is barely legible.

Just read a "we got *****ing screwed" thread in the arsenal thread (referring to the Liverpool CL game) and spotted this gem.

The ref ********ed us today, shall we count the ways?

1) Ridiculously weak penalty. I haven't seen one that soft in ages.

2) Reina handles a backpass, isn't that a penalty?

3) Mascherano never even goes in the book?

1) Didn't almost the exact same thing happen a week ago with Le Arse fans saying it was a pen. Both were pens - one was given, one wasn't. Get over it. - yet I understand a legitimate grievance if expressed correctly.
2) Its this brilliant lack of understanding of the rules that you just don't see anymore. No it would be an indirect free kick in the box... and you clearly have no idea what a backpass is
3) Are you really clutching at straws that badly?

That guy is a top draw asshat. He was calling for Taylor to get a life ban after the Eduardo tackle.

Arsenal fans here can be as bad as Sp#rs fans. And that's saying a lot.

I've seen some fairly stupid ones in the Man Yoo forum too. Like how after they lost the Manchester derby they were a terrible team that would win nothing, and it has all been masked by the form of Ronaldo.

Also last night their Roma thread showed brilliant questioning of SAF's team selection (for resting Ronaldo and Rooney for the weekend). It was almost like they couldn't understand they had a 2-0 away lead. Can't wait to see what they all do when Taggart retires.

They were suicidal when City beat them at OT.

Great stuff.

Oh this (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=14347863&postcount=8)is the best of all time...

Alan Shearer, let him get his feet wet in Seattle before taking over Newcastle. Has a very workman like attitude, i'm sure he'd be loved in Seattle.

Haha after reading that one I had to stop by and see the conversation. I can't tell if they're joking when suggesting Mourinho. Then Harry Redknapp, has also emerged as a favourite. Nowt like setting your sights high.

They should go for someone from Manchester... they'd be used to the rain.

Bloody hell I'm beginning to see what ToonUSA means about the LAG boards.

http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=681196 - read from where the debate begins about whether Landon Donovan is world class...

If Donovan was English, he'd be starting with Wayne Rooney right now.

It's why I can't even go in there. I find it liberating to not go into those boards and bicker with fans who know nothing as it just validates my opinion that I'm the smartest Galaxy fan ever.

Its a late bump for this thread but ignorance like this just doesn't come around very often:

Here... (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=16177595#post16177595) its an LAG thread about whether having Herbalife as a sponsor is embarassing.

I don't care about the ads on shirts. As Leeds said any official football shirt with a cannabis logo on it is good enough for me. Hey, its not as bad as having "acorns". Lol, Aston Villa.

Yeah having a charity for a Children's Hospice that you're giving free advertisement to is so "lol-able". He may not have known but FFS that's just plain ignorance. Did he think it was advertising actual acorns???

Here's hoping tomorrow he realises what a massive tool he's made of himself, for Christ's sake their slogan is "We cannot change the fact that their child will die, but we can promise families that they will not have to face that death alone." Is it wrong that I get so pissed off at sh*t like this???

Not at all; I'd be pissed too. Thanks for setting him/her straight. I would at least think that someone would be curious about what the sponsor is about.
