The media orgy this has triggered reminded me that the idea of sports reporters lecturing anybody on professional ethics is high comedy at it's finest.

Goodell's probably delighted that nobody's going to ask him about Michael Vick and Pacman Jones for a while now.

As has been said before, you basically have to be crazy to be a successful NFL head coach. Is anyone really surprised to find that Bellichek fits that?

I remember driving back to Hofstra listening to a Bills-Pats game during Bledsoe's rookie season. Bledsoe was out due to a very minor injury and Parcells didn't really want to risk further injury. I think the backup was Scott Zolack who went down from a nasty hit by Cornelius Bennett. As he was being attended to, the Foxboro crowd erupted in cheers as they saw Bledsoe getting ready to come in. Bennett, who was among the people huddled around Zolack to make sure he wasn't seriously injured, turned to the Foxboro crowd and gave the two handed "you morons disgust me" gesture and then went back to making sure Zolack was alright.

Before success and the hoards of local Cowboys/Niners/Packers fans suddenly became Pats fans, the fanbase was right up there with Jets fans in the classless department. High prices have since weeded out a lot of the unemployed drunks.

I make no excuses. This is right up there with the Monica Lewinsky incident in the risk/reward hall of shame.

My father still hates the Eagles more than any other team simply for cheering when Michael Irvin went down (turned out to be career ending) and was lying there in clear pain. That hatred has been passed down a generation.

Welcome to Pennsylvania sports.

They may not win the Super Bowl, but this is certainly the most talented Pats team ever.

Just imagine how great the defense will be when Seymour and Harrison get back.

Randy Moss might be the most ridiculous one-sided deal ever.

I was thinking that yesterday as well, we really overpowered them last night...also the other 3 East team lost yesterday...nice Sunday overall

Pffsstt, Texans will go undefeated, win the AFC South, and meet the Pats in the AFC Championship game, where we'll win 73-3.:D

Texans give up the 2nd least points in franchise history (3) on opening weekend, score their most in franchise history (34) yesterday. Let me have my fun while we're winning:)

The Norv Turner face at 24-0 was a thing of beauty.

It's like taking a NASCAR ride away from someone who finishes a constant fourth, and handing it to someone who drives it straight into a wall on turn 1 :)

I have no idea what that means. I still don't get that silly "sport"

Maybe we don't need to cheat? ;)

Did ya hear, mangina, says that there was a 2nd person recording audio (using something to pick up the headset audio) and wants the NFL to look into that:rolleyes:

I can't believe people just don't understand the only reason "Cameragate" happened at all is Belichick's seething borderline-psychotic hatred of Mangini. I'm surprised he didn't pull some other Delta Tau Kai playbook tricks out of his baggy hoodie.

Also, the Bolts complaining about of this in the week leading up to the game killed me. Hey Merriman, you still on steroids?! How's that glass house?

I dug the dances he did after meaningless tackles when they were down by over 20. I wonder how he celebrates when he successfully eats lunch every afternoon?

I dance after each meal so his celebrations must be spectacular

did we disrespeck Tomlinson by having a good defense again?

Much like another local nemesis who conceals most of his face while playing, Andy Petit, Tomlinson has the eyes of a goat and runs with his mouth agape.

Actually he's down to 8, since they've already lost the last two. Idiotic comments by a "classy" (just ask him!) individual.

Plus I love his comments after the game. This was a trap game for San Diego after all that crap? Wow.
