Speaking of which.... We should all organize a meeting at a Flyers game sometime before the season ends. A good chance to practice some songs, organize some coordination, and be drunken baffoons in a public place.

The Kixx seem like a cheaper alternative and play the sport, or at least a bastardization of it.

I just did a quick look through all of the Sons of Ben threads in this board (and my God, there are a lot of them), and not once did I see a mention of this, so I'll say it:
Happy Birthday to Ben Franklin. #301, today, January 17.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that doing a Kixx game is much more practical. It's soccer, kinda.

Also, getting a whole bunch of flyers tickets in the same area could prove next to impossible. They're horrible, but people are still coming out.

Plus, I think that would be a complete ripoff of the Barra Brava, since they go to Caps games in the winter.

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing... I don't mind ripping off good ideas from Barra Brava, but I don't want to look like complete posers too.

Besides, a soccer crowd might be more receptive to a supporter group, and we'd be around like-minded people, so we have a better chance of stirring up interest, or even a couple new members.
