fu(kin NASCAR?

what the hell is wrong with these people? and how the hell did they manage to vote despite not having thumbs or a fully developed cortex?

NASCAR: A waste of gas.

This is really getting silly. Posters who continuously complain about soccer bashers are being so negative about another sport. I have never watched a NASCAR race in my life, but if it's popular with a large segment of our population, LIVE with it! Be glad that soccer is up to 18%. What would it have been just ten short years ago?

Bashing another sport gives me a good laugh. Soccer is still at 18%.

Heck, what was it 30 short posts ago. Soccer's popularity has grown 50% since yesterday. Amazing.

Frank Deford is like mumbelty peg. People used to read his articles decades ago, but they have since moved on.

I voted a bunch of times (thanks Kaiser!) but soccer's still at 19%. With 5100 total votes, it takes 51 votes to change things by 1%.

We are up to 20 percent. Soon we will catch the NFL, then we can try and dent NASCAR's numbers.

How does one clear or delete their cookies? I have looked under Internet Options and haven't found anything.

I'd like to help stuff this ballot in order simply to annoy DeFord.

Try under Extras/Internet options and then something like "General" (I'm not quite sure if that's correct, since I'm translating this from a German browser) - should be one of the tabs on the far left when the Internet options window opens up. Delete cookies is right in the middle on the left.

I feel bad for Extreme Sports. Do they even have a message board?

I tried to revote after deleting the cookies, and the site had this under the pole:

"It appears that your browser doesn't support cookies, so we can't record your vote. If you've received this message in error, please contact MSNBC technical support."

Well, just flipping around the channels now, and I noticed a station where a very, very Christian (Porotestant) prayer was taking place. It runed out to be a NASCAR race.

One thing the MSNBC article did not take into account is that NASCAR immediately excludes the 15% of the nation that is not Christian. I simply can't think of any sport that does the same. Just up and telling tens of millions fo potential viewers that they aren't welcome. Yikes.

I just voted, soccer is up to 24% tied with the NFL.

Soccer is up to 25%, passing the NFL. It will probably take at least another 800 votes to pass NASCAR, unfortunately.

Keep plugging away.

Soccer is now at 26%. If I delete my cookies. Will this have anything to do with deleting any other sites or something?

Not with deleting your user name, profile or membership if that is what you are worried about. The only major change it might have is to reduce your spam mail, which is actually an added bonus.

Up to 28% now, with NASCAR at 43% and the NFL at 23%.

At around 5900 votes, soccer will reach 30%.

Keep plugging away.
