Seinfeld is'nt funny,it never was sorry.

but compared to the mass majority of other u.s. sitcoms based in reality i can almost see how it might be classed as funny from an american point of view.

What is "humour?"

It's like humor, only funnier.

Right now I'm watching re-runs of The Day Today and Brass Eye.

I'm English. I like to think I am pretty well-versed in most kinds of television and film comedy. In fact, in my previous post I acclaimed both The Office (original) and Seinfeld as being made from genius.

My first comment, which started this all, only stated Seinfeld was overrated. I never said it wasn't funny at all. There are some very good episodes but most of the time I'm simply not impressed and not laughing.

You know what show I liked that never took off, "Two guys, a girl, and a pizza place." I thought it was funny.

One show I can't understand is Fraser.

Frasier is awesome too. I can see how the humor isn't for everyone, though.

To me he's dead end of. David Chase said the only hint he would drop was that the episode Sopranos Home Movies was linked to the finale. And in that episode Bobby tells Tony you dont even hear it coming everything just goes black(or something along that lines), and then there's the dinner Silvio is at in which he doesnt hear anything until the guy he is with is already shot and on the ground. Hence last scene Tony doesn't hear it coming, it's just all of a sudden black, and the music stops, which I think was the only episode that didn't end with music also.

I didn't watch Sopranos so maybe I am wrong but I thought the show ended with Journey's Don't Stop Believin? I am a huge Journey fan and it seemed like after that episode everyone knew the song.

I got into watching a lot of reruns when the last few seasons were on. It's pretty light harmless comedy but I still watch it when there's nothing special on TV.

Yep that's what appeals to me too. Easy watching indeed.

LOST is so totally overrated. Their ratings fall every year because after 5 years you're only left with more questions and less answers. I watched season 1 and 2 religiously. By season 3 I was getting tired of the constant questions, no answers. I haven't watched since.

My wife still watches it though and I think the reason she and many others do is simply because they've devoted so much time to the show already that they don't want to give up now.

Scrubs to me is like Aaron Sorkin's Sports Night. It must be so funny I just don't know when to laugh.
