Its the 28th of April, where are the tickets. UEFA's website says nothing about when they come out or where to buy them. Does anyone know the score?

They're on sale now - but you need a bloody passport number to apply. Funnily enough I don't carry mine around with me.

Yeah they came out at about 3ish, the passport thing is annoying, as is the fact that you can only have 4 tickets for each game. I'm organising for 9, so it is a bit tricky, as some may get tickets and some may not. Who knows how this lottery will work. Are you going follow my team or individual games?

In the lottery are applications taken all as one? I mean if you apply for 5 games is it possible that you'll get them for 3 or is it all or nothing?

As i understand, the lottery applies for those games where the demand for tickets is higher than the actually capacity of the stadium for that class of tickets for a given game...in other words, it is possible that any one could be turn down for some games and still be able to see other games.
i hope this helps, not make it more confusing!!!!????

I read the page on tickets and it said you can download a ticket form from the site (euro04.com) but i cant find it. where is the application?
What do you think my chances are of getting tickets if I go for "Follow My Team-England"

Slim.
Your best hope is that so few people in england know that tickets are available, and so no-one else buys them.

Why don't you just apply for tickets on line? and i think you probably have a better chance of getting individual tickets for the games you want!!!!!

I'm going Follow My Team but to be honest I'm not optimistic about getting one. I'm sure they will filter out applications from English males between 20-30, despite their claims that the allocation will be 'fair and transparent' (when has it ever been?).

For oversold "Follow Your Team" packages, they could consult with the FAs and disqualify some applications before having a "fair and transparent" lottery.
The criteria for who is disqualified is where the subjectivity comes into play. Is it only "prior offenders"? Is it English males 20-30? Is it non-British applicants for the England "Follow Your Team" package?

My guess is that they will actively filter out English males between 20-30 and give preference to non-UK applicants (the logic being that they are less likely to be troublemakers).
The problem with that is, that this will have absolutely zero effect on the number of English fans that travel to Portugal and it means the vast majority like myself will have to spend inflated amounts buying tickets from touts.

I was curious if anyone's done the online ticketing yet? I'm planning to do it and wanted to know if they charge the total to your credit card immediately, or will they wait until after they confirm how many tickets you're getting and only charge that (possibly amended) amount?
I prefer not to carry a charge that will later be reduced, so if they charge immediately, I'll probably wait for this billing cycle to close.

I did the online thing and my credit card has not been billed yet, so i think they will charge you only after they are sure you are getting tickets. Just because you bought tickets on line, you are not guaranted to have tickets, because they could enter lottery first. Any way you should get some kind of confirmation at the end of july if you were to get them, according to the Uefa.
I hope this helps!!!!
Any body got charged for tickets yet????
