The Columbus v. KC match is not showing up on shootout's hair-metal schedule screen for this weekend. ¿Qué pasa?

It was just added to Fox Sports Ohio last week. It should be shown but might not show up on screen until later in the week.

That would again put every game on TV this weekend. The other Shootout games are:
Colorado at MetroStars - 7:30pm ET
MSG Network - JP Dellacamera/Shep Messing/Steve Cangialosi
Dallas at DC United - 7:30pm ET
KFWD-TV 52 - Brad Sham/Dave Dir
And San Jose at New England is the ESPN2 match.

Until FSO stepped up, this was the first weekend with a hole for Shootout customers. This was an HD game, but that can't be converted as we know.
I was trying to get a composite schedule from MLS, but never followed up. Maybe I'll try again today.

Just looked ahead on my own. May 10 hastwo games not covered locally that I can tell:
Colorado-Columbus (FSW, but no local)
KC-Dallas (NDNet, but no local)
We'll see. I know MLS said they were doing all they could to fill gaps. And they said once that there were no games that FSW was doing alone so maybe Colorado just isn't listing games that will be covered.

I would guess that ColoradoRapids.com just hasn't gotten off its duff to update the schedule. On the other hand, maybe the Rapids haven't finalized their broadcast schedule yet. This Saturday night will be their first road game, so I guess they haven't NEEDED to finalize it.
Meanwhile, I checked zap2it.com, which is run by Tribune Media Services, who supplies TV listings to TiVo and DISH Network and a bunch of websites who have TV listings. At 7:30 PM on Saturday night on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain, they have a generic listing of "Soccer."

The addition isn't listed on InDemand's schedule.

Good call. I just logged into Yahoo with a Denver zip code and checked the TV listngs. They are also showing the May 10 game allegedly. Would have been nice for the Rapids to announce that.
Maybe their PR guy is French. :D

Neither was the Sunday Revs-Fire game until Thursday or Friday and that one was lined up two weeks before game time. Columbus just got this one done last week. Patience.

I still don't see the third Saturday match showing up on the Dish on-screen guide. Any updates on DTV or iNDemand?

MLS should release their weekend TV info tomorrow (I think it comes out on Friday) so that would be the best sign.

If that's the case then it'll be too late for many cable companies to change their schedules.

1. It's on my on-screen guide now.
2. MLS just publoishes out the schedule Friday, it's finalized before that. It's part of their media e-mail and has transponder info and stuff like that. I know I'm probably less worried because my cable company has had no problems, but if a game is carried by a local company, it should be on the Shootout, no questions.
If you've had problems in the past, don't wait. So if you see it's going to be on Fox Ohio or whatever, call your cable company the second you see it and make it known that they need to look for it. Don't wait. Because I was told by someone at MLS that if it airs, it's on the Shootout.

1. Let's clear up a misconception. What's on you on-screen guide has no necessary relationship with what will actually appear on your screen. For instance, Adelphia's on-screen guide is produced by TV Guide. What appears there can be different from what actually is broadcast. A case in point - the Sunday match a couple weeks ago appeared on my on-screen guide but did not come through. TV Guide had the proper information. Adelphia did not.
2. Here's the thing - it's not even on the InDemand website yet. InDemand sends out an email when they make change. I was told by Adelphia that if they receive the email late in the week word often doesn't get out soon enough to make the change in their schedule. So you're right, if you see a change then call. But the problem is that it's not even clear to me that any change in the schedule has been made at least as far as InDemand is concerned. And, unfortunately, there's really no way to contact InDemand (at least I've never been able to in the past) to find out if this game was added.
Here's the InDemand schedule.

When I turn to my iNDemand screen, it has the game listed. It's not on my guide yet (I was confusing my terms), but that's usually a day behind. My experience with my system is that if iNDemand shows it, it comes though. Can't tell you much more except don't trust iNDemand or your cable company. Check team Web sites for local braodcast info and make sure that corresponds with what shows on your guide.
It sucks, but it's the only way to be sure.
And the MLS e-mail came tonight. They have channel assignments for DTV and Dish so it's going to be on iNDemand. It's up to the cable systems now.

an article in one of the denver papers, today, mentioned that they had just signed a new tv deal
i'll go grab the quote...
The Rapids announced Wednesday a deal with Fox Sports Net to televise eight of the team's 15 road games this season for cable and satellite subscribers, starting with Saturday's 5:30 p.m. game against the MetroStars from Giants Stadium in New Jersey. Comcast Channel 21 (five games) and ESPN2 (two games) will televise the other road contests.
