Is there any truth to the rummer we've signed Ashly Young for 10 mil,a good bit of buisness by watford me thinks if true

In our position we will have to pay over the top for anyone. I am just glad to get a talented player in at this stage.

We haven't signed him yet, a 10m bid has been accepted by Watford according to the Daily Mail.

No surprise really, who wants to play in a relegation scrap.
Consider this though, Watford is almost guaranteed to be relegated, and why not be the hero/savior of a club who can stave off relegation and stay in Top Flight football? I think he's making a big mistake by telling off West Ham, his stay at Upton Park may have led to him making even more money in the future (i.e. Chelsea, or Liverpool). Too bad.

SSN claim that Boothroyd has said that Young has refused a move to a PL club.
It has to be us. He would surely accept a move to any other club which looks like staying up. Unless Charlton has been in for him...:confused:
