Already up 3-0 with 1 forward having 2 another with 1. This result would put me on top of my IV group.

Damn it.

Didn't see this thread so I started a new one.

Just ignore mine.

Northwood FC- FC LaSalle

Match ID: 108856552

8th vs. 2nd

Here's to hoping that new keeper was worth it.

Edit: Just went down 1-0. We're hoping to build upon our 1st goal attempt of the year last week and maybe force the keeper into a save or maybe even get 2 chances.

One all on a PIC right now, the PIC was a little risky, but I think I should still pull this one out with no problem.

2-0 at the half to them. They got a penalty of all things to go against me. My first time using the 3-5-2 has failed me as they also had 74 % possession.

It's gonna be a long second half.

Damn - wasn't sure what the guy I was playing against was going to pull out on me (he has three very good IMs but doesn't use one and instead uses a guy who pulls 1.5 stars). So I decide not to PIC and he plays the crappy guy and tries to CA me - sigh. Beating him 3-0 with 69% possession - really should have PICed.

What an absolute debacle.

We got beat 6-0 had a player sent off and held 18 % possession in the 2nd half. The woes of being a new team continue.

Not to mention we have a total of 1 scoring chance in 5 games.

I need a drink

I win my PIC 6-0 at home, but one starter gets two yellows and another gets a two-week injury. I just can't seem to stay healthy enough to get better. :P

3-1, PIC win in front of a sell-out home crowd.

I've soundly beaten the only other 2 "player" teams in my division. I should be able to cruise from here on out.

Got to thank the HT gods for that one ;)

Won mine 2-0, but top IM was red carded and stadium was only 80% sold out. Frustrating as I keep losing the away matches, pissing off supporters ahead of a home match. In HT, better to win away and lose at home.

Won 7-0 with my star forward getting 5 goals, giving him 12 on the season, including cup. I'm still at second and will probably get stuck there. First place is just too good. Maybe he'll slip up soon. Does anyone know the logic to selling off 75% of your team and buying new players consistently?

Overestimated my opponents midfield and went with a counterattack. Lost 1-0. He had 51% poss. 1st half and I had 73% for 2nd:eek:
More upset at my tactics than the loss. Could have one this one.

Won 1-3 away with a MOTS to take first place in V.20. I made it through the tough part of my season with 5 wins and 1 draw. Next two weeks are walkovers and in the second half of the season all my tougher matches are at home. If I'm not careful, I could autopromote.

Is that true? It's better to get beat 6-0 home than away? I lost away and it says my supporters are furious.

5-0 win at home against a promoted team that hasn't logged in since 11/28.

Not sure if it's that simple, as place in standings and cumulative run prob also matter. Though supporters are very short sighted so the home win yesterday will have less affect two weeks from now (next home match) then an away win would next week. My supporters are "high on life" now, but if I lose next week they'll prob drop to 2-3 levels and cost me $75-100k in ticket sales.

Lost with a non-starter trainee based squad 2-3, even though I held midfield and Hatstats. This breaks my 19 game unbeaten streak.

Also lost my #2 IM to a 3 week injury, which pretty much ruins my chance of a Cupset on Wednesday.
