I think all us Addicks fans in the states should be prepared to sign up for Setanta service for next season. They cover the Championship League. That's where we will be next season I'm sad to say.
I reallyd don't see that there is any way we stay up when we can't even beat Boro at the Valley.
But I do have faith that Mr. Pardew will have the club back up quickly.

I agree. I've already resigned the season to relegation. We just don't have any spark, we really don't. You see almost NO creative play... every time I see a long ball out of our defense when there were other options, I turn off the game. Needless to say I've turned off a lot of games this year.

It will get worse than that. If they fall to the Championship they will lose their website to one of the cookie-cutter ones done by NTL. NTL has the exclusive rights to websites for all Football League clubs. What does that mean? To be able to listen to the matches you will be paying a subscription.
There was an incident a few years ago when some of clubs that got relegated had used a website service done by a subsidiary of Sky Sports. The courts forced them to stop internet broadcasts until they switched to NTL per the Football League contract.
The club goes bad and you've gotta pay just to listen them.

If we do get relegated I will have to make do with whatever games are shown on Setanta Sport, and watch the League highlight show, which I already watch.
Things are starting to have a glimmer of hope though... I don't think many people are expecting many points out of the next three fixtures. I'd be genuinely happy with picking up 4 points total out of the matches. I'd also like to see at least one more signing before the window closes.

What's this...... I ...... feel?
Hope...... being.................... re-...........stored?!
can't............ identify..................................... feeling!:D WTG Charlton, showing Toon how it's done... 2 home wins in a row!!! Go Zheng!
and I have to say.... one of the big reasons I am seeing this turnaround is because of the excellent play of Alexandre Song. He's been a revelation in midfield. He PASSES instead of just lofting long balls. I love it!

The bad part about all this is that almost all of these players that are making us look so good are on loan. Song, Carson and ZZ are here temporarily. ZZ is the only player that will wind up here in the end as they have an option to buy him (which their better damn well exercise).
It is nice to see us get 4 points of a possible 6 from the first two games of the dreaded last ten matches.

Yeah I get the feeling that Carson will eventually be heading for bigger and "better" things.... he's such quality and with Liverpool's always sketchy GK situations, there'd be no reason to keep Dudek on the bench when they have someone as good as Carson waiting to play for the club paying his wages.
Song, I can see him either being called back to Arsenal next season if they can't play well (which currently they are not doing so well) or possibly sold to us if we stay up. I don't see him with us at all if we drop.
ZZ, it'd be nice to see him play with us if we stay up OR if we do drop.
