Here are the dates of the First Stage which will involve America:
All on Fox Sports en Español. Game start times listed.
Wednesday, January 24
America vs. Sporting Cristal (Peru) at Mexico DF
10:15 PM ET / 9:15 PM CT / 7:15 PM PT
Wednesday, January 31
Sporting Cristal vs. America at Lima
9:15 PM ET / 8:15 PM CT / 6:15 PM PT
If America advances, they will be in Group 1 with CA Banfield (Argentina), Libertad (Paraguay) and El Nacional (Ecuador).

It is near impossible to keep track of this tournament in Aus. Can someone tell me how many Mex teams are still in the competition?

The three which started it: Toluca, Necaxa and América. Right now, they are all involved in the group stage. A round-robin of six matches against their group opponents.
