I'm originally from Portsmouth, VA; the sister city to Portsmouth UK. So I've followed Pompey over the years. Visited Portsmouth UK a couple of times in the 80's and thought it was a nice city. Glad to see the Pompey is doing so well!

Born in Portsmouth, Been to Fratton Park since the early seventies, cheered as chuff to see them doing so well. We used to go to all the home games back then. Makes me proud to say I'm from Portsmouth, even got the license plate with Pompey on it. Supported ManUtd back then in the 70s with Bobby C and Alex Stepney and not to forget Knobby Stiles. Just wish they would build a new stadium and demolish that old park on frogmore.

No way,Fratton park is what makes Pompey what it is......ok tart the old girl up a bit but never let it lose its appeal.

From Texas, put played in a youth club cup in Portsmouth nearly twenty years ago. Went to Fratton and never seemed to have left... It's a wicked addiction.

When I started heavily following the sport a few years ago, I decided I needed a team to support. I didn't want to jump on the bandwagon of a big club, so I decided to narrow it down to EPL teams I hadn't yet heard of; Portsmouth was one as it was their first year up (in the current spell). Took a year getting to know them, and have lived and died with them ever since.
