Still not what I like not all of us are Brazilian....Nike really is tring to push the Brazil thing over the top now...

You have NO idea how bad nike exploits brazil. A little birdie told me some sh!t that goes down with nike, and how bad they exploit brazil. The short of it: $$$ the almight dolla dolla bill ya'll.

is not that the whole point of a business though. good for nike. why don't we claim that diadora is capitolizing off of italy? you would do the same thing if you saw that dollar bill.

Prolly been pointed out already, but John Carew seems to be wearing the 5 star gold vapor 3's....
Not sure im happy with that, how can a Norweigan international, with no italian heritage, wear these boots!

The point of business is to make money. Not sign a contract with a football association give them money, then exploit the hell outta them.

About the diadora point, I agree to an extent. There's a difference between someone paying you a sh!t ton of money, then taking advantage of you. Compared to someone using your likeness to sell a few items. Nike has WAY more money than Diadora, and uses it to their advantage (again the point of doing business) With all that leverage they can then take advantage because they feel they "own" them by giving them money to use their likeness.

Personally I could care less. I've never liked the Brazillian nat. team, and never will. However The thing that bothers me is the least nike can do is give back to brazil with all the money they're raking in...Just my opinion...

And BTW... I'm gonna be the first one to rock those italy maximus!!! :rolleyes:

Also, Cannavaro (appallingly crowned World Footballer of the Year despite being a boring b*****d) is wearing the 4 star Supremacies.

I miss my Gold v2's!! I really wish I didn't have to sell them. I did learn a valuable lesson - don't get Vapor's half a size smaller - they are tight enough as it is!! I also miss my photo blue Vapors that were a full size smaller - however those were the ones the paramedics had to cut off my feet *anger*

Too true!!! Just because the girls think he is hot and because he wins a f'n WC as captain, now he is European player of the year? I know and realise these competitions are a farce and I can argue about it so easily but honestly, how much longer can they do this?:confused:

It is definitely true. A centre back and a goalkeeper have been judged to be the two best players in the world over the last season. Despite the fact that the team led by Henry knocked BOTH their teams out the Champions League last season!!

AND...if Arsenal are such a one man team, surely Henry should have won because he "single handedly" got Arsenal to the Champions' League final?

i still don't think they need special boots to help them stand out as champs/Italians. we all know who they are as soon as they are on the ground for an excess amount of time doing the hand shake in the air where you squeeze your thumb, pointer, and middle finger together(if it's a good one, you get got hands shaking in from of their own face, in perfect unison) just like in the world cup :p
