I have this gnawing feeling that his failure at Real Madrid will only be increased exponentially at the Galaxy. And just think of that ridiculous amount of money. Beckham is first and foremost a marketing star, not a football star, and he has arrived where he belongs.

He's still an elite player and could play in scores of teams in top leagues. It'd be hard to imagine that he'll be a flop in MLS. He's still got at least three years left and keeps himself fit. He may be benched at Real Madrid but when he has been on the field he's made every effort and generally been very professional. His one problem is that he's not a leader.

you people don't know how to tell betwen a good player and just a marketing player ........ i would buy only a ronaldinho jersey or a messi or a cristiano ronaldo jersey....... those are real players with real skills........ i'm not goona deny that bechkam have some skill but he's not as good as the marketing makes you think........ anyway you guys really makes me laugh... you made my day ..... thanks people... but i'm a real futbol fan ....... i like to see real futbol players.... i would never get excited like a little lady if beckham was gonna play in my team..jajajajja...... if you really knew about futbol soccer you should be ashamed ..... of getting excited like ladys about this....... thats why i laugh.....anyway i hope you keep talking about this...... because i want to laugh a little bit more........:D
