Yeah, support a London team - Dag & Red. You're new to the game, they're new to the league. Seems a perfect fit.
They're new to the league, yes, but D&R have an interesting past - it's funny, because they seem like a fairly recent side, but the only reason they seem new is because they kept changing their name over the years! A brief history...
1881 Ilford FC formed
1886 Leytonstone FC formed
1900 Walthamstow Avenue FC formed
1949 Dagenham FC formed
1979 Ilford and Leytonstone merge to become Leytonstone-Ilford
1988 Leytonstone-Ilford absorbes Walthamstow Avenue, changes its name to Redbridge Forest
1992 Redbridge Forest merges with Dagenham and change their name to Dagenham & Redbridge
I love it when little teams like this get some success :)

You chose Arsenal because they were losers, yeh? ;)
PKchoppa, it would seem sensible to support a team that you get a chance to see reasonably often - EPL, CL etc. If NZ is anything like Australia then that probably means Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool. Unless you have an overwhelming reason to support another club, and you don't seem to have, then one of those would seem a sensible choice.
As a Utd fan (a Pom born and bred 15 miles from OT) I would obviously recommend them - you like Ronaldo, can probably learn to like Rooney (amazingly easy when he scores for your club) and with Nani, Anderson and possibly Tevez arriving this coming season added to Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Saha etc then you have one of the most exciting offensive games in world football.

I don't think there's any problem joining the band wagon and supporting one of England's most successful teams. However, whoever you support, you must stick with them forever, through the good and bad times.
Like machoward said, it's probably more ideal you follow one of the big four because they will get the most coverage abroad. You'd like to be able to see your team on T.V, wouldn't you?
As for which one, it's entirely down to you. Watch each of them, and see which club picks you.

Well no i think the word you were look for were the Unbeatables:D
The attack sounds good, But vedict still out on Nani, anderson. Giggs scholes nearly done their dash. Tevez hasn't been confirm. So next year you might be able to tell me, really how good your attack is.

Well no one really asked, but if you are new to football in England and are looking for a club with tremendous support and a glorious past, plus a current team that is pushing for 1st in the premiership then Tottenham Hot Spurs are the way to go. A club with some of the most exciting football last season and the updated squad promises the same flair and better results than our previous 4th place last campaign. We have one of the most gifted strikers in the world, Berbatov, who pairs brilliantly with Keane up front and with Darren Bent, Defoe and Mido up front to back up the 2 wonder boys lots of goals is a garuntee. We Compete in Europe and always do well in cup competetions, being a london based club we rival with quite a few clubs, but most importantly arsenal. The derbys are always great with the fast pace everyone loves. So support the Yid Army!!! :D

You probably wish you had a actual midfield then. Might be best turn one of those strikers into a left winger. Then find a Midfield pairing, then maybe you might have a chance.
But when you have Bent, Defoe as bench warmers and a quailty:rolleyes: midfield then your wasting time and money.

Martin Jol knows exactly what hes doing over there with Spurs, and when the gooners finish 6th and we take you CL spot don't cry too much. Spurs will be the kings of northern London!!

Midfield? Jenas, Taarabt, Lennon, Zokora, Huddlestone? But wait you're right, there is no quality. pfffff the real problem is the defence which is fixed, so I guess Arsenal better watch their arses, eh? Berbatov, Keane, Defoe, Bent are going to penetrate any defence.
