Yeah, it'll be a shame when he finally goes, but at least we'll have our fair share of magic moments to remember him by, when the time comes.

Good to hear about a new contract. We can still do with his creativity.

I'm surprised that he still plays for the Turkish national side, though. I mean, no offense to Tugesy, but he's getting on a bit, isn't he?

Thanks for the replay Revelian.

-Actualy, he did quit Turkish NT..after the 2004 EURO play offf game.
-He said at that time; He did for his best for his Nation.at any level of comptetitions.. he wanna give his jersey to young lad emre, yildiray, arda, tuncay etc.
and, he wanna focus to the his club ''Blackburn Rovers''.

that was his final comment about his NT career.
in 2004.

He continued his club .. he performed consistently at his club.
Always gives his best.as aleader.as a maestro. he is one of the world class player still at the epl.

Anyway,back to the subject:

Turkish NT new chairman Fatih Terim,
recently call up for Tugay..
it just because of, the current team is very young.
and Fatih Terim want to use Tugay,Hakan Sukur's experiances and leadership for his young team. just for a little time.
after that, Tugay helped a lot for the current young squad..

He did helped in a short time very well.

vs Brazil... will be Happy Good Bye to the Tugay Kerimoglu.
He already get the place at the Turkish Football History ''legend players statu''

Good luck to him at his current club.

We Love You Tugay

As a Football Fan, Iam loving and enjoying to watch his beauty footballing.

He didin't start his new season at the club, ''didin't kick the ball on the field yet''....

Is head coach plan; will not use Tugay from starting line up ?
aswell from second half,,it seems....

In his age, maybe thats right desicion of Tugay play time...
but, Tugay in good shape and love to play footy.

I hope he get his position from starting line up.

Good luck Tugi!

aka; A True Rovers Legend.

What you need to remember is that Tugay, at his age, is a short term solution. He can come on as a substitute, and change the game, if you're a goal down. But, the future of any team lies in youth, and Tugay is certainly no spring chicken.

If the coach has younger players to pick from, he'll go with them from the start, because they'll last longer, and they'll gain valuable experience from future seasons.

Hi mate:)

Tugay makes me always smile. no_metter whats my current moods.

-Bordeaux v Galatasaray game...
well,,, my match comment is still in Galatasaray Thread.
Galatasaray played very well first half...amazing waste chances by Umit Karan and Shabani Nonda.... this two player waste 5 %100 goal chance at the first half.
some how, second half Galatasaray were not at the field...defensive and golie's error cost two opposite goals.
<There is coach fould and aswell players fould.for entire second half.
the referee were a bit hard to control of the game rhytm... aspecialy at fouls and aswell minute86 GS possible pk position.

Well game is over.:) Galatasaray strikers should put in thoes first half chances.
in the football book; if you dont punish..you will get punish.
you waste goal chances at first half...opposite had chance in second half two time,,and they score two time. well punish.

over all;
There is still to games play at the group. ones Casio Lincoln,Hakan Sukur,Sabri,Ayhan comeback from injury...we'll see our furture more clear.
I believe Galatasaray will win rest of the group games.

Good to see Nonda's still being productive. How's he done this season, IWA?

As for the turkish league, I always seem to root for Fenerbahce, which I know is your sworn enemy, but I don't even know who is on that team anymore...Samuel Johnson was my favorite Fenerbahce player, for whatever reason.

Hi Hypo-Luxa

Thanks for the replay.

About Shabani Nonda;

Well...He start very well. scored in his first debut game.
but some how, he drop to the bench by coach Feldkamp ''aka; Kalli''.
since than, he didin't get much time at the team,,finaly midweek game;
He played , and scored a goal. but, he and umit karan waste an amazing goal chances....
I dunno, ones when Hakan Sukur will comeback from injury,,I wonder who will play as a starter....Umit Karan,Shabani Nonda,Hakan Sukur.
two of them will start.thats sure.

Well...Bingo!. archrival..........
Recently They seems to do so well at the European stage ''CL group stage''.
They have some great stars...Roberto Carlos...Alex...Appiah...Lugano...Tumer... etc.

At the Turkey Super League...they dont do well...
'thats good for us':p:D

--Samuel play another Turkish club.
He were the amazing player for them.
but, they have great replacment...Appiah. he is a world clas midfiel player.
He will be the one of the key player for upcoming european games for for them.

Galatasaray has Casio Lincoln for play maker position...they have Alex...
It will gonna be huge match up at Derbie . cant wait!.

Galatasaray-Fenerbahce is one of those matches I hope I can attend one day. The atmopsphere must be off the charts.

Celtic-Rangers
Liverpool-Everton
AC Milan-Inter Milan
Dortmund-Schalke
Barcelona-Real Madrid
Atletico Madrid-Real Madrid

are the other derby matches I want to see before I take a dirt nap.

River Plate-Boca Juniors would be on my list too, not least because it would take place in such a beautiful country. ;)
