I have long thought it was someone in MLS. But saying "he" hasn't seen an HDNet game makes me think not, unless he's a peon who is too busy/underpaid to have an HD TV.

So I'm thinking it's someone who knows a lot about MLS, who writes for a major outlet (maybe a news service) and can't get permission to lend his name to this kind of work.

Can't Be Too hard to nail that down after some detective work.
