Question about HDNet

I have a question about the MLS HDNet broadcasts.

Will any sportsbar with HDTV and a DirecTV dish be able to get these broadcasts?

Or do the bars need to pay some type of additional fee, like with the MLS Shootout package?

In other words, if I wander into any half-decent sportsbar with a plasma screen on Saturday night to watch the DC United match, will they be able to show it or not?

There shouldn't be a problem for them. They might pay a commercial rate for DirectTV, but nothing special for HDNet. Sort of like a bar that shows ESPN on it's televisions.

You should call around or check on the HDNet web site for a sports bar in your location that might carry it. www.hd.net
