What a wonderful result.
In recent times, Everton have been a bogey team of ours, and with what some may consider a depleted team, we've thrashed them.
Well done Rovers. Great performance, though I'd have to say the first few goals were down to defensive errors.
Goalkeeping errors on the first two. Gallagher should not have been able to beat Yobo like that for the third. McCarthy's goal was class, though. He has proven to be one of the buys of the season. Hughesy deserves a bit of credit for that one, I'd say.

After last season when Everton beat us at home, then beat us with ten men AND their third string goalie at Ewood I didn't think I'd be able to get over those. But that Cup win soothes me. Now if we can get three points off of 'em next month we'll be even.
Great game, though, for the youngsters. I really hope this gives Hughes a reason to give Gally and Derbyshire more of a chance in game time situations instead of junk time at the end of games...
I kinda wish we could've saved two goals and use them against Arse. It'd be nice if they could spot us 2 goals, huh?

Yeah, well, it's nice to dream. But if we can make Everton look a shambles at Goodison, chances are we'll turn the Arse over (so to speak) at Ewood.
