Group A is a great group. I'd love to see some of those games.

yeah the USA looks especially tough after their 2-0 win over the FIFA U-20 World Cup hosts, Canada. I don't really know how good Canada is but they have to be a side favored to go far this summer when the FIFA U-20 World Cup kicks off (June 30 - July 22).

that is a horrible Generalization of Guatemala.. where is Honduras not in the tournament, there Under 20 stinked they could only beat Nicaragua Under 20 by 1 goal difference at home.
Costa rica is finished in there lucky years of development, at best Guatemala is as good as costa rica, no more or less.
the United states struggled to defeat us in Florida twice by 1 goal, we plowed thru El salvador and Belize scoring 11 goals, 5-0 vs Belize and 6-1 vrs El Salvador. Panama's Under 20 has had zero games against good teams and are going to be under-prepared.
Keep overlooking us

trash talking happens, that's why the games are played
i'm looking forward to see what happens in group A. Even though both Haiti and Guatemala won their respective groups at home, they did win pretty handily against their group opponents.
When interviewed after the final round group draw was given USA's U-20 coach, Thomas Rongen, was interviewed. He basically pointed out that the stars & stripes were placed in a much tougher group. Guatemala played them very well and by now the chapines should be alot more familiar with the Americans' style of play. Rongen did mention that he kept his eye on the U-20 Caribbean qualifiers and believes the Haitians are the best team coming out of the Caribbean. Panama's U-20 squad might lack some international match experience but the canaleros will be tough to beat at home.

Lots of expectations for our u-20 squad this year. With the majority of players being Pros a 2nd rd or semifinal exit won't cut it.

in english please He actually said that in Group A, panama and guatemala have to really kill themselves in order to get 2ND PLACE (presumably because he believes that the US is sure to top the group) ....... and that those teams have to be realistic about their possibilities and think with their heads, not with their passion. (i filled in the blanks, and not giving you the word for word translation)

The USA is obviously going to win their group and Mexico should win theirs. USA has a significant chance of winning this whole tournament.
