Personally I like this move. I have always admired the way Boa Morte plays and when he is in top form he looks class.

I didn't know he played on the left though and this probably means that Ethers will lose his place, which I think is a shame. Ethers has always given his best and provided good service for the strikers and apart from being constantly targetted by opposing defenders his only real weakness was his stamina.

But Boa Morte will give us some much needed quality and if we manage to secure SWP on the right we should see much better service for the strikers and look a different side.

That move would only help Charlton. Bent is out until mid February. As much as I like him.

It's a good first signing. At the risk of upsetting our American cousins can you remember the slight let down when our first signing in the Summer was Spector ;) . LBM's a good, proven PL quality player and if we can can sign others of similar quality it may just tempt a big name to join us. I've read some posts from well connected posters on other WH boards and we have very substantial funds available, it's just a case of trying to convinve them to come to us. Typical WH though, first time ever we have serious money yet the cub is so fekked up no one wants to join :D
