Thank you for the kind words. I’m not a Big Soccer member, but I felt compelled to sign-up so I could express my thanks for reading my dopey little website. It’s mostly a solo effort. Only Lefty is another person. All the other bylines are meat puppets.

All of your creative suggestions are excellent. Someone other than Nowak should have said “no” to Disco Rod D’s request for his first Champaign. I looked for a Mo Johnston picture, but then became lazy and didn’t want to make the extra effort . . . Nowak was already made so . . . c'est la vie.

I will leave you all to return to your 200-word missives on the possible line-ups and formations United will use in 2009.
