I know it's in another forum, but definitely a good pickup for the 'Backs. I think both of their young keepers are pretty good, but to get a Capped (only once, I know) keeper in a country full of high-quality netminders is a coup. I think he knew someone within the organization, but I bet he is being paid on par with MLS keepers, or he wouldn't be there.

He had a couple of chances in England. I wonder if his history of knee injuries did him in over there or if he just was not up to par for Ipswich.

The Rochester paper said that Steenkamp chipped him in OT... did anyone see the play? Was he too far off his line, or was he coming out to challenge, or what?
