Carmona is an animal. Totally unnecesary. I wonder if it was the elbow or the punch to the face after the elbow, Carmona's hand was bleeding after it happened. Looking at Barbosa's face when he was on the ground, he had a lump on the right side of his face, judging by their bodies position while thye were fighting for the ball,it would be difficult for Carmona's left elbow to do that damage, but consistent with the punch/slap he gave Barbosa when the player was falling.

Not to defend Carmona, since I am of the opinion that after the drug incident he should not be playing for Cruz Azul, but I would like to see the play again. I still think what I posted above. Difficult for Carmonas left elbow to damage Barboas right side of the face as shown on tv.

It did look to me that he punched or slapped him in the face as he was falling

i didnt watch the game. I fell asleep during the tigres-mty game. The following morning after reading these thread I was expecting to see the worst...

i am not defending Carmona... but it did not look as bad as everyone made it out to be.... sure... it should have been a red...but... i just did not think it was as vicious as some are making it out to be
