CONCACAF unveiled today the home-and-away series fixtures for the 2007 CONCACAF Champions’ Cup™. COMPLETE BRACKETS

The first-leg encounters of the Quarterfinal Series will take place from 20-22 February with the return-legs set for 27 February – 1 March.

Pachuca CF (MEX) will host the winner of the Deportivo Marquense (GUA)-CD Victoria (HON) in the opening match of the Quarterfinal (QF) Series 1, while the second encounter is scheduled to take place in Centroamerica.

The QF Series 2 pairing has Puntarenas FC (CRC) greeting the Houston Dynamo (USA) in the first match, with both teams meeting again for the second-leg in Houston, Texas USA.

The 2007 Champions’ Cup QF Series 3 will feature the 2006 Mexican League Torneo de Apertura Winner traveling to the Caribbean region to face the CFU Champion in the first-leg, while the second game will take place in Mexico.

D.C. United (USA) will visit CD Olímpia (HON) in the opening-leg of the QF Series 4 in Honduras, while the return match is set for the USA.

Wow, good heads-up sid. Would love to see the Puerto Rico Islanders take on a Mexican team.

What happens if Pachuca wins the Apertura??? since thay are already takinga spot does runner up take the Apertura spot?

If I remember correctly from when Pumas won twice, they will just hand it to one of the teams that Pachuca would have beaten in the finals.

No worries about that anymore (cough-chivas-cough). As I mentioned in the chivas concacaf thread, potential semifinal matchups (Pachuca-Houston, Chivas-DC United) also coincide with a doble jornada in Mexico (jornada 10 maybe?). Great to see the amazing job at scheduling continues to be the same.

I don't think either of the MLS teams will be moving onto the second round. Also the double jornada might not be a problem because the Mexican teams usually don't field full strength teams until the final.

I always hope they do, just so they get crushed by mexican teams in the semi´s

If an MLS team was to go against an MFL squad in the CCC.,would it be the first time teams from these two leagues played each other in a tourney,or have they come across in a pitch before?

Nope and MLS sides have been getting destroyed with scores of 5-0, 6-0 and so on since they moved to a home and away format.

I downloaded three versions of "can't take my eyes off of you" because those fans got it stuck in my head.
