If you are looking for impact players from a fantasy standpoint then Silva isn't a good choice.
De La Cruz should score some goals from his defensive position, so he might be a good fantasy pick up. It's always hard to pick which backs will get you a few goals.
I read about Cheryou, but I don't see him starting at 'Pool, but hell Houllier has bought about 60 players so it's hard to tell who'll play the most.
Juninho sounds like a good choice for any league that gives you points for assists. I suppose most do.
Anyone think Stern John will score many for Birmingham?

Jermaine Pennant (Arsenal) -- though limited time this year.
Jermain Defoe (West Ham) -- 20 goals. Now.
Jermaine Jenas (Newcastle) -- WILL be THAT good.
Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke (Blackburn) -- 30 goals between them, absolute MINIMUM

Agree with the first three, and hope you're right about the forth.
Macarone at Boro is going to rock, as should Hugo Viana if he's as good as he's made out to be.

From a fantasy standpoint the Birmingham players are ones to watch. They certianly will be cheap in the fantasy drafts and many are quality players.
Savage
Stern John
Kenny Cunningham
Clinton Morrison
Jovan Kirovski
Alliou Cisse(One of the best purchases in the league)
It depends on what you you need for the Fantasy statistics. Look to the new Liverpool players too.

My main worry here is that Matt Jansen still is on the roster isn't he? Are Cole and Yorke above him on the depth chart? If both are guaranteed consistent starters Yorke is basically a must have for the fantasy lover.
Other then that for some reason I like Ronnie Wallwork, he is an assured starter for WBA right? And has a good pedigree and normally avaliable for the minimum price in fantasy leagues.....

Oliveira...CFC.
If played in the attacking mid position he will excell, feeding off the room vacated by the defence who look to stuff EG and JFH.
Has a cracker of a shot, great pace and a good read of the game.Quite usefull in the air also.
