It's one year if your (great)grandparents are from Spain and 2 years if you ar Brazilian, but it takes almost a year to get the nationality

i dont get it, why would they go after robben if they fail to get ronaldo? don't they play at opposite ends of the field?

also: robben is a hell of a player when he wants to be, it'd be cool to see him play for barca. i didn't know he was so young, guy looks at least 30.

OK MESSI IS IN NO WAY OVER RATED............. Now the truth is he is not the best under-21 tho thats THEO WALCOTT shortly followed by gio and bojan!

I'm sorry to contradict you. I have seen them all live, and the best U21 (in that position) is Tottenham's Aaron Lennon. Walcott is nowhere near him nor is Gio as they both are 17 years old and Lennon is 19 and two years are a big difference at this level.

I rate Gio higher than Walcott whom I rate at the same level as Vela.

As for Robben, he's a left winger so he won't be any competition for Gio or Giuly, as both of them play in the right.

signing ronaldo won't necessarily block gio's progression, but it might.

it's hard to tell how much faith rijkaard has in Gio, he did well in the preseason i thought, but he was never called into the squad since then even with all the problems the team has been having in attack this season.

they could end up signing ronaldo to replace giuly, and gio could then replace ezquerro and/or gudjonsson. so it is possible to have both. but what'll actually end up happening is anybodies' guess at this point.

Lennon are u KIDDING me better than Walcott! henry has proved that speed scores goals and walcott would out run gio bojan and lennon! and did u not see walcott's goal in the CC final all that pressure on a 17 year old and he comes through in one of the biggest english tourneys..........not only did he score the goal he set it up! age does play a bigg part and lennon is a good player but no i rly dont even think he is better than gio nor bojan! o and i havent seen much of vela to comment on him! but put gio bojan or lennon in walcotts place in the CC against terry and chelsea and see if the score! and MESSI's hat trick was brilliant:eek:
