Yes, he is Cheatin' Bob's brother.

And yes, United so often and brutally violates anything Bradley related that he indeed does feel it.

Ahhh, biased reporters telling us to not be biased.

Just one question "Jeff", if DC United is not the Gold standard of MLS, WTF is...?

The "all it takes is a little more competition in the conference, and we cannot make the playoffs" Galaxy...? FYI, they are getting ready for year 2 of their "dry spell"

The CrashQuakes1836Dynamo...? Yeah, they are a beacon of stabilty to admire.

The Fire...? Well, Open Cup wins sure impress player's Mom's, but no one else really.

The Rev's, heh, might as well rename em the Bills

DC United IS the Gold standard, because no one else come close.

I kind of liked this one:

New York Red Bulls fans, learn to live with the fact that your team is the place where everything that was once D.C. United comes to work. Bruce Arena, John Harkes, Richie Williams, Jeff Agoos, not to mention all the support staff. How long until Mario Gori, Ben Iroha and David Vaudreuil have jobs in the front office?

Why do people pay any attention to this guy? He's got his head up his butt and thinks it smells good.:p
Good grief.

Given the quality of that piece, I'm sure Bradley's annual salary from MLS.net is in the high 3 figures.

I have to admit to not reading everything on that list, but was it ridiculously negative or was it just me? My summary, "Let's resolve to remember everything negative that has transpired in the history of the league". What an idiot.
On the bright side, I have to enjoy the fact that the only thing he could find to critisize DCU for was the fan's exuberance.

Nice grammar, asshat.

Beat me to it.

"Hey Bradley: You want to run some smack, at least learn to do it without sounding like you failed 3rd grade English."

********ing retard.

Excellent way to build a fan base. That sorta stuff works for MLB or NFL, well established leagues, not MLS (yet). The fact that MLS would post that garbage saddens me.

who is this goof to take shots at US?

DC may not have made the playoffs for 3 years at a stretch, but we are still the gold standard in MLS.

WE have won 4 championships, and been there one other.

some of the greatest MLS players have played here, and the fans of DC always have RFK rocking.

The team and the fans are the gold standard in MLS, and maybe just maybe this goof, should go crawl in a whole.

Um 2000 to 2002 is only three years... But who's counting...

:)

As for Bradley, he's a columnist and a not a very good one at that. He calls it like he sees it - which is to say like Branco over a free kick during his stint at the Swamp...

I do like that he implores the fans to make both Guevara and Adu welcome - as if they are such weak minds and hearts that fan adoration is going to transform them into greatness. I guess they rank right up there with Whinovan in the heart department then...

I don't think that Bradley's resolutions for DCU fans & MLS fans in gerneral came up to the level of "shots." They were boring to read and I was trying to find a reason for the BS reaction.

New Years resolution MLSnet.com editor

I will not accept any piece of writing J. Bradley submits. I will demand at least minimal standards from him to ensure MLSnet is readable and to push Bradley to write better.

Guys, DC was NOT the gold standard 2000-2002. I don't see what's so controversial here.
