I must warn you, the video you are about to see and hear is quite disturbing for not so mature viewers. If the mod thinks it should be deleted, then I have no problem with it

This is not a spoof execution, it is the real thing

The video was taken with a cellphone but the quality is ok

Wow, he seems calm. The quality is surprising too, I can understand most of what they're saying.

They're not really saying anything important, at the beginning it's all kind of not very clear, but when you hear the voices getting louder it's basically just a muslim prayer, they keep repeating "Muhamad", who is like the biggest of the muslim saints. After that Saddam keeps repeating a prayer "ashhadu ala elah ela alla, ahhadu ellah mohamad rasoul alla".
Toughly translated, it means: I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah. I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

But since this is an Iraqi accent, and I'm Egyptian, I could be off. Maybe some of our other arabic-speaking users can help out?

Also the executors were shouting the shiite leaders Moqtada al Sadir and Bakir al Hakeem names while Saddam was literally laughing at them. The guy is the bravest soul I have yet to witness.

^^I'd hardly call his foolishness for bravery.

well well well, i live in Kuwait
Lebanese nationality
but not muslim :)
and as some1 already said, i would hardly call his misused power bravery.
if he was half as brave as he wanted us to think, he wouldve went out fighting just like his sons. not like a coward hiding in a well, or whatever it is he was hiding in.
