There is no way any team in Argentina is going to pay 3+ mil for Mendez. I don't think he is going anywhere. Is this one of those " inocentadas"?

Well..considering that Mendez didnt do shit in monterrey and in Tigres..this could be a smart move for him..Latorps did manage to get the best out of Mendez and he might do it again in Velez...now lets see if it goes down.

I don't see it happening. Lavolpe is going to find out that Velez is not going to be willing to pay big money (unless he goes on loan)for an average skilled player.
Even on loan, his salary is probably high, since he was on la sele.
