Just asking does anyone know how to get sound on Youtube working, coz i have done everything possible but it just does not work.

Assuming you have the slider below the video properly set, let's run through the basic list:
1) Are your speakers turned on and plugged in to the right spot?
2) Can you play other audio through WMP, Real Audio, iTunes, etc.?
-If not, then you should probably check your computer's sound settings and adjust as necessary.

yeh everything is plugged in
All my other audio players works it just youtube

Try installing the latest version of flash.
