I posted this question on the Celtic message boards and i really didnt feel the question was fully answered..all im asking is whom does the manchester united faithful support in scotland? who does united fans see in scotland as a "brother team" or there second team...if u dont understand this question fully from my dumbass self not explaining it well then go to Celtic message boards...
by the way, i heard CELTIC vs. Man. united in SEATTLE, WASH. sometime in august?
anyone have any info. on that too?

You'll see half-United / half-Celtic scarves once in awhile. However, you'll also see half-Liverpool / half-Celtic scarves as well.
There is a huge supporter base for United in Ireland, and Celtic enjoy a similar Irish support base...

Ibelieve the large Irish suppot has to do with the Catholic factor. I remember when the US played in Ireland and Reyna was booed every time he touched the ball because he played for Rangers at one point in time.

I support Celtic, though I am not Catholic(yes there are proddies who support Celtic and vice versa for Rangers). A friend of mine whose parents hail from Glasgow got me interested in the team. I have been a Celtic fan since 1986(not as long as my allegiance to United..1976).
