I've been out, no sooner have I got back than we score :D
2-1 to the Whites. Dyer scored for Newky before a Ramage own goal then one from Anelka put us in the lead :D
We have a good record against Newcastle when we play them between Christmas and new year hopefully we should continue this today.

I should just point out that as usual the opposition board is full of unintentionally funny statements.
Two quotes taken from that board, both by the same poster:
Lots of goals is not the way Bolton plays.
We've scored 22 to their 20 This season :D
They play direct and score A LOT off set pieces.
Our set piece play has always been overrated, we've score from just two set pieces this season. Compare to Newcastle who have score six goals from set pieces.
Point and laugh, but only in this forum please :D

FT 2-1
This takes us up to third, at least until the end of the Arsenal game this evening.

Congrats Prenn :D
lol
A part one poster non of them gives Bolton any credit what so ever ! They blame it all on thier own mistakes and the "bad officiating".
This guy is really bitter me thinks :
From this point forward, I even will support ManUre in a match against those borin' Wanderers.
:p
Edit : you probably wanted to post the same quote.

You do know that a throw in counts as a set piece....

you have scored 24 to our 21...you are in 4th and you have only scored 24 goals out of 20 games in reg play.
We are in 11th and have scored 21 goals out of 20 games
ManUre for comparison scored 44 in 20 games
Out of the top five, Bolton is the only team with under 30 goals (...in fact 'Pool and Sp*rs have scored more than Bolton and they are 5th and 6th...) and are there in the top five because you have conceded less than anyone else below you in the top five.
You win but you dont score a lot. Its OK to do that its just ,..well..a lot like the MLS.

And this is relevant to what? There was someone on the Newcastle forum saying that the game wouldn't be 3-2 to Newcastle because Bolton don't score that many goals yet there we were with 22 to your 20 (now 24 to your 21).
Our last few wins have been: 2-1, 2-0, 1-0, 4-0, 3-1. More relevantly we've scored two or more goals in 8 out of 20 Premiership games. The only thing in his favour is that when we've lost it's usually been something nil.
In summary it's a bit stupid to state that a game won't be high scoring because the opposing don't score many when they are, in fact, the team that has scored more.

The scoreline flattered them, we should have scored 4 or 5. In the last half hour I didn't see Newcastle get out of their own half, or hold onto the ball for longer than two seconds.
Their goalkeeper is the worst kicker I've seen since Jussi first came.
