Difficult to say...I think Ligue Un has the worst lineup, followed by Italy actually, and then close by in Germany. England and Spain fight out for top spot.

I'll have a quick stab at this. I'm not going on recent form or reputation but picking the team I would want from each league. I'm also sticking to the same formation (1 support striker, 1 winger) for easy comparison. Clearly not the most accurate way of doing things but flame away.

It was important for me that these teams would be able to play successful together. So I maybe didn't always chose the best players overall!

We'll see how Deisler does. Certainly a great talent and great potential but too many problems in his career. Let's hope he gets a clean run from now.

When then, did you have two stoppers in central defense (Terry/Vidic are not complementary) and Lampard/Gerrard in midfield when it's clear they cannot function together?

Slight differences in mine:

-------------------------Kahn-----------------------

Sagnol-------Van Buyten--------Naldo-------Lahm----

------------------Frings-----------------------------

-------VdV--------------------MvB------------------

------------------------------------Schweiny-------

------------------Diego-----------------------------

--------------------------Klose----------------------

I always wanted to see Schweinsteiger in a free roaming role.

As for the EPL:

Finnan---------Vidic---------------Agger-----------Barry---

----------------------Essien-----------------------------

Hleb---------------------------------------Ronaldo----

------------------Gerrard-------------------------------

--------------Henry----------Berbatov--------------------

Berbatov

I knew someone had slipped my mind. Even more embarrassing considering he was in my draft team. Switch Adebayor for Berbatiov. Before anyone asks I left Saha out because I cannot stand watching him miss easy chances and I left Drogba out because he has the same problem.

Very true. That's why they cannot produce the same terrfic perfomances at the country level. There cant be more than one '#8' in a team + you cannot play them in the CAM because they demand possesion

After his reading double,do you think that the UNSTOPPABLE and UNTOUCHABLE drogs should be left out:D

Still do. He's clearly in a great run of form at the moment but it's too early to tell if he will continue at this level. Aside from the diving, he still has issues with being clinical and putting away the easy chances, something I do not like in a striker and even more so when my formation only has one (although I suppose I have been spoiled by Ruud/Ole in my time).

w/out injuries, the best 11 would be:

-----------------------Cech
Eboue----------Terry----------Gallas------------ACole
Ronaldo-----------Essien----------Gerrard---------JCole
-------------Henry----------------Drogba

with current injuries, VDS woudl replace Cech, Vidic would replace Terry, Robben would replace JCole.

like your team colm but if your going on this years form wouldn't want to replace an injured henry with someone like saha? just a thought.

Most of the Serie A teams in this thread are crap. As of right now here is the best eleven in Serie A:

-------------------------Dida
Oddo---------Mexes-------------Chivu---------Zanetti
-----------------------De Rossi
--------Kaka---------------------------Mancini
-------------------Totti
-----------------------------Toni

I think Barzagli's club form is very good (if not for Italy). I think he's better than Chivu now, but thats just my opinion.
