Farewell I will always applaud you when you come to DC. I know you'll never do the badge kissing in front of us! Best wishes except when you are playing us:D

I'll really miss his ability to win balls in the air.
;)
He needed a change. Thanks for your service, Esky.

He's a guy who always -- always -- hustled and scrapped. And that earned him (and us) some goals that were at times both beautiful and crucial. The man won us the MLS Cup in 2004 after all. A sad day.

he never gave up and always left every thing he had on the field. alecko was a great player, a wonderful presence in the locker room, and just a good human being. so many good memories are attached to him...
i'll always cheer him on, no matter where he plays.

No one was more dedicated to the team's success. Our championship team is fading to a distant echo.

Of the 14 players we used that day we got rid of 4 in the past week: Esky, Prideaux, Freddy, Nick.

Still have 6 players who played that day: Namoff, Carroll??, Gomez, Gros, Olsen, Jaime.

He needed a change.
Please lay down the crack pipe... that's an absurd statement.

All the best to you Alecko. You bled for the shirt, and gave us some truly beautiful goals.

One of my favorite players and one of the players that I actually played against in college....and the only one to score a 35 yard free kick BOMB upper V in the last minute to send us home losers. I'll miss Esky in the Stripes.

One of my favorites. He'll be missed.
I am assuming he wont do/say anything stupid, so he can get massive respect upon his return.
Damn.

I hope he returns to form in Toronto. He hasn't been the same the past couple seasons, but he will be missed.

Esky played with his heart on his sleeve. His passion made him so likeable. Well, that and making Bo Oshoniyi look like a fool when he scored a goal so brilliant Bo didn't even know he had been scored on.

I'd love to see him regain his old form against everyone but United, that is. Good luck to a real gamer.
