Without a doubt Stevie G is better. He can lead a team whether its full of world class players or not
'Steve Gerrard Gerrard hes better than fat Lampard
Hes big and hes f***ing hard
Steve Gerrard Gerrard

The virtues of both players can be seen for all.
Lampards prolific record from midfield is amazing, looking likes he going to maybe hit 20 again from midfield.
Gerrar, is probably the better player though I think*...
* An I'm a Man Utd fan... :D

Maybe hit 20? MAYBE? I've been quite restrained, but you really grind my gears.

Well, hes only at 11 right now.

Gerrard. Stevie led a CL titleist. Lampard is a follower on a CL hopeful. If Chelsea do win it, Terry or Drogba or somebody else will be the guy doing the heavy lifting.

Are you including FA and Carling Cup and Euro? I wasn't. That could account for the difference (And then I only count 20, sorry if I miscounted)

So disagreeing with you constitutes being a dick?

Of course, those count. 20-21 it might have been my math which ever, still impressive

No, making ridiculous statements that either a) have not been thought through or b) have been thought through by a baboon.

Well I'm glad you took the time to notice that I only used prem goals in my tally. Whatever boosts your ego buddy.

I often dont count them for a few reasons (specifically scoring a bunch of goals against 4th division clubs tends to inflate numbers).
Counting them or not, it's without a doubt an impressive figure. Lampard is for sure a top-class player, but I simply prefer Gerrard (not taking anything away from Lamps)

Clearly, if someone suggests a player is "going to maybe hit 20 again from midfield.", that would indicate that that person's frame of reference includes all competitions, as Lampard (the most prolific goal-scoring CM that the Premiership has seen) has never scored 20 Premiership goals in one season. You baboon.

Just wanted to tell this Pareira idiot that Javier Mascherano is the most overrated footballer on this planet. I wouldn't take that piece of shit over Lassana Diarra.
I want to thank DPT for unearthing this gem within 24 hours of Masche shutting down the Chelsea midfield.

Thanx for digging that up. I wonder if he still feels the same.
As far as Gerrard being much better than Lampard.....is this still a legit question?

Well both were pretty shit last night, so I guess it left quite a bit unanswered.
Yes I know, Man United got knocked out. Lampard & Gerrard both still played pretty shit last night.

Gerrard had a good game in my opinion. He didn't go forward as much because he had to do a lot more of the dirty work since Alonso didn't start and they had Pennant and Zenden out wide. He made some crucial tackles and hustled all night. Not shit at all.

He worked hard I will give him that... he was very wasteful in possession though, and blasted the ball over/wide from silly distances and positions far too much. I was watching with two Liverpool fans, and they were both berating his performance throughout. Had it been Ronaldo wasting said possession, it would have been heard about ad nauseum.
