Hmm...so this means they aren't bringing Nowak back and we are getting a certain coach not hired by the US Nat's. I always knew we were a bigger program. But in reality, a big player!?!?!? That could make all of our holidays that much brighter.

In a serious note, I hope that it is in regards to a new stadium, I know that we love to clown DC with the fact of playing in a baseball field but aside from all the trash talk and for the benefit of the league, I hope that its in regards to a SSS.

I don't know why we have to read one thread to find about every single off season topic. Most of the stuff in there is just a bunch of babble. For me to find out about this announcement I will just wait until Thursday (just fine) or wade through tons of other topics in order to find the discussion on this one. I still don't understand the logic behind the single off season rumors thread. During the season each topic gets its own thread.

Back to topic:

I bet it's to announce that Novak has signed a new contract.

That's what I thought. I knew that, normally, I would miss the announcement unless I saw a thread about it.

Not your fault, your's was first from what i can see....but still....

Hopefully it's a triple announcement-New Ownership, New Stadium, New "Designated" Player....


Now, I'll head over to the rumors thread to see what everyone says.

I said this in the big thread, but since it's pointed out Kasper is there I would assume it is a coaching or player announcement, rather than an ownership or stadium announcement.

He's taking over the head coaching job at Real Salt Lake..:)
