What do you drive?

and if you don't/can't/are not allowed yet:
What do you like about taking the bus/train and what do you hate about it?

Im doing my drivers license right now.
My instructor is an FC Bayern fan, and besides being a crappy instructor he is trying to explain why Real is team of the past, how the squad is real old, and has no good players on the team except old worthless stars of 'yesterday' and so on.He didn't really bother watching them since a couple exceptions in 01-02, so i didn't wanna talk too much about it.

So, at the moment, i take the train...where i can at least rest my head and listen to my favorite tunes. :)

Right now I drive my mother's Ford Escape, till I save up to buy my own car, thinkin of gettin a Pontiac maybe. It's yellow too, so you can't miss that damn car anywhere. I park it in a crowded parking lot, NO PROBLEM! It's freakin yellow!

Speaking of instructors, I had this bald Humanities teacher who knows I love Madrid. He's a Chelsea "fan". We had finished a test in class one day and were killing time, so he decided to talk to the class about footy, and he started going on about how much Madrid suck. I had the feeling he was provoking me or something, it doesn't help there was this other guy in my class that was a Barca fan, and they were making fun of Madrid. And then they started making fun of Raul and Beckham, and I didn't wana answer 'cause I was already in trouble with that teacher and it was finals week, and plus I didn't wana get into an argument with a couple of idiots. But at one point, he just looked at me and started saying "They suck! They're washed up and were never that good anyway." So I just looked at him and replied "Whatever you feel comfortable with...but at least they have the option to grow their hair if they want". He just looked at me and very quietly told me to get out of class.

This is redneck country. LOL! No trains, no buses, no taxis. Our town is about 40,000 people, the majority of whom drive trucks!
Yeah, if you don't own a vehicle here, you ride a bicycle or walk.

Yeah towns which come to the forefront of newspapers in US when weird stuff like "the Capote" film happens. Fact is many american films have been made on such small towns. Another memorable film being "what eats gilbert grape".

I wish i lived in a small town where you dont have to drive a car to go the grocery. I drive a Nissan Altima btw.

One of my friends grandma (aged about 70) lives alone in the mountains in Wyoming, very close to Yellowstone National Park. Now that's what i call life!

I kind of do...it's 10 minutes to everywhere...10 minutes to the pharmacy, 10 minutes to the grocery store, 10 minutes to the train station...kind of funny. :D

All in different directions, but all kind of close.

1969 Ford Mustang. This was my first car that I bought with my own money.

These aren't my pics but I was surfing around and found this exact match to mine and realized that I can now find photos of all the great cars that I've had. I love cars and have had a few interesting ones. I used to actually work on them too, and knew how to do tune ups, fix carburetors, I even rebuilt an engine once. But my specialty was fixing things on the road with things like bobby pins and hair ribbons.

For a long time, I was known as a "chick with a cool car." But unfortunately, I was also known as something else: FLAKY. One day, I got rid of my last cool car and became the "chick that actually shows up on time." :o

Oh, and NO, I was not old enough to drive in 1969, I bought it later than that. =P

Here is the engine - it had a 302 cubic inch (4.9L) engine that was ridiculously big for this little car. When I went to test drive it, the accelerator was pretty stiff and kinda stuck and at first it wouldn't budge and then I kept pressing harder. I'll never forget the feeling when the engine engaged and threw me to the back of the seat as it screeched out of control barreling down the street. SOLD!

I've driven recent cars with good size engines, but there's something about the way these older rear wheel drive beasts feel that is just... I don't know how to describe it.

Nice car Horsey...I didn't have you down as a grease monkey. :p

I don't know how your Mustang handled but the reputation American cars (generalizing here) have over here is comfortable and excellent for motorway driving, but get them on the back roads and spongy suspensions leave them handling like a jelly (jello) round the bends.:p

I drive an Alfa Romeo myself...unfortunately not the Brera that I would love...my ever expanding family (and their need to cart 7 tons of crap everywhere we go ) mean that I've had to get a 156 Sportwagon.
It is however still the most beautiful estate car on the market and drives and handles like a dream....those Italians sure know how to make a car.
Unfortunately they don't know how to make one that stays in one piece longer than a couple of months...my car suffers from the same reputation as your Mustang....though (touch wood) my own has been ok so far.
My car...
