Any bits coming in about who has been contacted for Jan camp with Bob? Bornstein? Rolfe? Sounds like Ching for sure..

The only concrete news I know of so far is that:
(1) Altidore and Adu will stay with the U-20s
(2) Bradley wants to bring in Ching
(3) Many candidates were already contacted

US soccer will probably issue a press release with a list of invited players in the next week or so.

As an addendum to #3, many candidates were already contacted while we all thought Klinsmann was the new coach.
Who's picking these players, anyway? The same people who are going to line up another Guatemala friendly on a FIFA date?

lol....Gulati should have no power in picking the team along with anyone else who is not the coach. Ching and Twellman are givens to be forwards. Donovan Mastroeni and given Midfielders. Conrad, Wynne, Albright are given as Defenders.
Dempsey will be in Europe

float the big rumor, he's after some dutch guy there....
i think the story about players being contacted emerged around the time the cherundolo story about JK became known...
mentions of players being contacted...
we probably known 25 already...
there might have been a handful a specific coach would invite, but I can't see any guy begging out, unless europe loomed and conflicted with that club chance...

not shocking. we all know sunil is a fan of the game first and foremost. also, i'm sure our opinions mean something to him.
supposedly, a lot of people involved with us soccer/mls lurk on bs.

hell, i'm clint mathis. Why couldn't Sunil be lurking on BS because he wants to gauge the pulse of the fans in an attempt to eventually help the experience improve for those of us who love the game? Ever since Arena made his stupid, asinine comments about Sunil being a superfan, far too many people here have acted as if Sunil is some intellectual midget who can't separate business from pleasure. It's really getting annoying.
