This could go in food too I suppose, but I figure he's tv too man.

This is so wrong I can't believe it. Positively treasonous:

I thought it might've been faked up but it appears genuine. Still trying to absolultely confirm.

Unless he did a show that concluded somehow that Lite is a quality beer, this could be shark jumping material.

Something that is impossible to prove using any science known to man.

There was a Good Eats episode where he went over the basics of homebrewing, but I would never have thought that he would sell out and pimp Miller Lite. Never.

My roommate loves his show, but I find him a bit annoying. the They Might Be Giants of cooking shows.

Meh.

All lite beers taste exactly the same... so the guy needed to make some money, tough titties!

I agree. If he wants to pimp something for some extra cash, then so be it. As long as he doesn't start pulling a Sandra Lee and tells you how to make Kraft Mac and Cheese gourmet, I don't think you can say he's 'jumped the shark.'

Meh.

All lite beers taste exactly the same... so the guy needed to make some money, tough titties!I like Miller Lite as my "regular" beer and it tastes more like beer than But Light.

That ain't saying much, I know.

Because now everybody's going to want a rock to wind a piece of string around.

I would be much more concerned if he lent his name to a series of sub-standard kitchen implements, like certain other Food Network celebrities have done.

It's not, really...but I don't own any They Might Be Giants albums.

I have to assume you're not talking about Emeril... because as much as I can't stand Emeril, his cookware line is made by All-Clad and is quite nice.

Beer taste vary from person to person so I think it comes down to, they paid him some cash and since he likes the taste of Miller Lite more than the Bud Light he was okay with promoting the stuff.

He's been wrong on his show too sometimes.

I am stunned--stunned!--that a TV personality endorsed a crappy product!
