Please don't add any of your entries here. Send them to soccershout@gmail.com

I'll leave this thread open though if anyone wants to savage our picks.

One of the listeners, Ted F. had the genius idea of putting in an entry for Lawro.

Each week we'll find the side he's tipped to lose by the greatest margin and put that it.

He has the advantage of picking his team each week, but on the other hand he doesn't even know he's playing which should balance that out a bit.

Lawro's week 1 entry is Charlton, who he tipped to lose 3-0.

Ted, great idea...
Once and for all, Lawro is going to show that he knows anything about football!!!

Does the same rule that all the teams have to be different apply to Lawro?

Will the competition standings (or at least the top people in the pool) be posted?

you took the words right out of my mouth, I was just wondering if the leader would be posted after the w-end.

P.S. Phil, I tried the Rhapsody link but it only works for Americans, sorry :(

Oh, you'll be getting more than a quick mention of the leader.

I'm gonna stick you all on an email list and send out a full chart after each round of games.

You'll also have the chance to earn a prize for the eventual winner. I'll find something for the Canadians to do as well! :) (Seriously...thanks for trying, OR).

BTW...so many people picked Charlton on Jan 2 - even though I said we were ending on Jan 1 - that I'm gonna allow it.

If anyone wants to switch their game five in light of the above, send me an email.

Already one game in and I can win. Or at least I can't win outright. Because me and 7 of my closest friends picked:

West Ham
Watford
Wigan
Fulham
Charlton.

:(

Thx,

Jay!

Lawro has several teams down for a 2-0 defeat, the greatest margin he is predicting.

I'll pick the first on this list of games...which is Boro away at Blackburn.

So Lawro's pick for game four is Boro.

Cheeky tramp.

lol!!! but cmon guys boro arent that good a team.. could see them losing 2-0 at ewood park against a blackburn side buoyed by their perfomance against liverpool..

Boro just got a draw at Everton...I could see them doing the same at Blackburn.

Boro's defence is pretty solid when (a) Woodgate is playing and (b) we're not giving away penalties like Christmas presents.
