The [SQR] is in regards to Ahmet Ertegun being one of the co-founders of the NASL's New York Cosmos, who played many times against the NASL San Jose Earthquakes.

2 NASL guys are gone in 2 consecutive days. Lamar Hunt yesterday and Ertegun today. What a bizzare coincidence.

Considering that celebrities tend to pass away in threes, who'll be the next celebrity to pass away?

As falvo pointed out here (http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=10238985&postcount=71), it turns out that the late Peter Boyle was the first of the three.

The answer is in this thread. Re-read it from the beginning, carefully.

Article from the LA Times linked by Soccer America. Only one thing bothers me in the blurb from Soccer America: "...he was instrumental in making the Cosmos locker room the kind of place where you could see Mick Jagger chatting up Henry Kissinger."
"...chatting up Henry Kissinger?" I knew Mick was a free spirit but to try for a date or to hit on Henry the K is just too much.
Here's the LaLa Times article: http://www.latimes.com/sports/soccer/la-sp-huntsoccer20dec20,1,1166122.story?page=1&coll=la-headlines-sports-soccer

The YouTube video would be..."too much".
