Half of the teams in Germany are nicknamed lions :D.

Saci (Internacional) - a brazilian folklore tip.Can you explain more? I looked up what Saci is but why do Inter have the nickname?

After this nicks in 40's they start to be called the urubu (vultures).The story behind this one is awesome. Before one important match a fan smuggled a live vulture into the stadium and released it onto the field moments before the match began, to symbolize the 'death' that awaited the opponents.

Can you explain more? I looked up what Saci is but why do Inter have the nickname?

The saci was an offensive nick because Inter is team of people with brazilian/international heritage in oposition of Grêmio that have german heritage.

Saci is a black kid that wears red, then they assume the symbol

Galatasaray are also known as "The Lions"...

Last year, they have even brought an alive lion to stadium (Ali Sami Yen, which described as "The Hell" ) for the celebration of league champ.
