as of right now at his peak Ronaldo is better than Ronaldihno, we just have to wait to see how much better ronaldihno gets, he is not far off. as for Ronaldinho winning the champione league for Barca, i have to disagree, that final may have been one of the worst games he had ever played
also i read a quote somehwere: Gabriel Batistuta was asked what he thought about the play of Ronaldo, i think it was around '98 Batigol's answer was "Ronaldo is football"
as much as i love one of the two kings in football... the other named pele ...batistuta was just saying in appreciation because it was the 1st game back from the major knee injury for ronaldo and most players where saying nice thingss!! but ronaldono has to the the second most complete player since pele so i chosed ronaldinho ronaldo was good at one thing which is speed and power and he perfected it well but ronaldinho can do the same thing[madrid /barca 05.. the 2 goals he scored ] and many other things that ronaldo cant!! they are both brasilians so i aint biased:)

i see your point but he had major knee issues and came back still a great player, and i take nothing away from Ronaldihno, he is a phenonmenon!

It's debates like this that get me mad..for some reason..
Why compare though???
ronaldinho gaucho has been through what? 1 monster season where he was just easily one the best footballer in europe so we expect monster things of him and compare him to already greats?
While I think dinho has been cemented in footballing history already. Let him reach atleast 30 first.
I mean you even have ppl say such dumb things like
1.Pele
2.Ronaldinho
3.Maradona....
complete nonsense..I think.

yes..anything else you have to wait to compare him in my opinion..
But hey...ppl love to compare..in any sport...dinho is on his way. I think he will become a stronger player and person..bouncing back from a season when everyone is criticising you for not playing up to par.

Right now i'd have to go with Ronaldo.
I think he'll go down as one of the most natural goal scorers of all time for sure.

If you really watched Ronaldo at his peak I don't think you can say Ronaldinho was nearly as good as him. Sure Ronaldinho is a great player but Ronaldo was a whole level above him. Ronaldo has had so many knee surgeries and he still remains one of the best strikers around.

Ronaldo never won the Champions League / European Cup or the Italian League and you are repeating the same things over again to make ur list longer.
Except for the "red" part, Ronaldinho did all those things too.

he had 3 on his right and 2 on his left
at his peak he had 1 on his right, but they tried to keep it a secret so he get payed well and other players don't end his career prematurly

i find them rather hard to compare, being they play different positions and have different roles on their team. ronaldo is an all out striker, with a unique blend of strength, skill, speed, creativity, and a lethal nose for the goal. ronaldhino, imo, is more of a field general finesse passer and dribbler who runs an offense, can finish as wel, etc. r9 and r10 are the two of the best players of this generation (other than zidane)nd it you can make an argument for either one

I think he had tis when he was at psv becuase he osgood shlater disease which causes sweeling under the knee- ronaldo was happy to wait for the pain to go ( clears up within 2 months) but the doctors wanted the knee problm gone sooner.

When Ronaldo was at Barcelona and when inter in the early years, he was breath taking and really cannot be compared to Ronaldinho at all.
But then again they both play different positions so can they be compared?

He won the Cup winners Cup with Barca and did not win the CL. He also became 2 time topscorer in Spain. One time with Barca and one time with Real
