From the article:

"'If Arsenal win their game in hand, there will still be 15 points between them and [leaders] Manchester United, so I think it is impossible for them to be champions,' said Mourinho, whose side are eight points behind United with one game in hand.
'Arsenal had quality, organisation and control, but ambition to win? No. Only one team tried to win the game.
'It is a surprise for a big team to come to Stamford Bridge and be very happy just to get a point..."
.....

The Frenchman also insisted his club are still capable of clawing back Manchester United but admitted it would be difficult.
Wenger said: 'What does he want? Our defence today was very, very young, and there was a lot of pressure on them.
'It was difficult, and I felt they needed protection. We are frustrated, though, because we wanted to win the game."

We are coming to play you away from home, and we dont have rosicky, toure, gallas, or henry - what an idiot Mourinho can be at times.

Yeah, I wonder how he felt when it was 1-0 Arsenal. Or when we outplayed them for a fair part of the game.

Without the stunning curve on that ball by Esssien (was a nice shot, no?) Jose would be singing another song.

And now, his zillion dollar squad has drawn Manu and us, apparently, a team that didn't want to win. If he were correct (he's not) he should be thankful that we weren't in a more aggressive mood.

what a complete moron. they were lucky to get the draw...it took the goal of the season to get equal with the arsenal...and with Chel$ea's payroll, they really have no excuse against us at home.

great match by the arsenal! down 4 of our best, we played with those bastards the whole way.

What a ********ing smarmy smug bastard. I can't wait till we've got a completely fit squad. We'll see who is the better team when they visit the Grove.

i don't see how he can feel good about the fact that his side was within seven minutes of losing to a team the 'wasn't trying to win'.

i mean, clearly arsenal were employing tactics pursuant to winning the match, as they almost succeeded. so the only thing mourninho could legitimately be criticising would be the manner in which arsenal were trying to win. but wait!, wasn't mourinho just holding forth on how 'unattractive' it was for wenger to not adjust his tactics against bolton away? and, geez, it's not like you have to go searching the archives for it, it was just a couple of days ago!

i swear, that guy cannot be as stupid as so much of what he says.

That coming from the manger of a team which went to OT and did exactly the same, stealing a draw from an own goal in the one half chance they bothered to create all game? What a ********.

I can understand him being so upset, seeing that his £300m team couldn't beat a seriously understrength Arsenal.

I wonder who he will buy to replace Shevchenko?

All mind games, folks. Given his established pedigree he HAS to do something like this. It's in his nature, it's part of his approach to the media and other coaches...

As Lisa Simpson would say, "Just don't look."

Jose shouldnt talk about not trying to win the game. HE clogged the middle with Maka, Essien, Lampard and Ballack - all central midfielders, not a winger in sight. You wanna tell me that he wasnt interested in stopping traffic? He only grew balls and tried to win the game when he brought Robben abd SWP on. Before then he was in as much dmage control mode as we were, except he could do it with four world class central midfielders, whereas we had to try our luck with two defensive midfielders (Gilberto & Flamini) and 3 attacking players (Cesc, RVP, and Hleb). Not to mention Jose was at home!;)

This sums it up!

I thought Mourinho was a smart manager. I know he is just trying to down play our ability and the lack of quality by his side after spending so much money and NOT dominating all of the European footballing world.

That might hurt Lard Lad's feelings.
