And would you be willing to make me a copy? I coach a couple of girls teams, and lets face it, they just don't watch much soccer. It is the biggest tactical difference between girls and boys. I've been wanting to find a game that I can show my girls at the clinic I'll run this summer, and this game had it all: great pace, wonderful passing, great touches on the ball, a chance to explain referee discretion with the handing out of cards (which will become an issue for my U12s next season), great goals and great drama. I'll pay shipping and handling etc. PM me if you can help.
Thanks.

Thanks. If you can't get someone to copy it for you you can also get the bit torrent and burn to CD or DVD. Goonergoals (http://goonergoals.blogspot.com/) should have it shortly.

It's also on FSC again tonight at 11 eastern, if you have the means to tape it yourself.

Thanks, I don't. I don't have a TV and my father-in-law's TV system is so screwed it doesn't work right. Will anyone here record it for me???

I too only have it on DVR, which is from Comcast. If anyone knows how I can upload it from the DVR to my Powerbook G4, please PM me. In return, I can then send you a copy of various Arsenal games that I have DVRed throughout the year. Thanks!

And can you tell us all how you get the fricking thing off the DVR? I've got so much stuff on mine I'd like to save somehow. I don't think I even remember how to work the VCR anymore.

Does your DVR have a firewire port on it? That would probably be the easiest and quickest way.

Mine does; I connected my DVR to the Mac, using the instructions below, but was not able to accomplish much. Apparently, my Mac recognized the device, but that was all it was able to do. Anyone got any better instructions?

for dvr, there aren't ports to connect the rca cables to connect a dvd recorder?
the red, white, yellow sockets.

My DVR (HDD) also has a dvd drive and vhs slot. I can burn a dvd from the dvr no problem.
If anyone needs a game recorded, let me know.

Again, I say D'oh! Though I grew up in an age without technology (we had 2 TV channels!), I've never run into gadgets I couldn't figure out, until about the last year. It's frightening. Not because the gadgets are getting more complex, but because I'm failing to figure out simple stuff.

There's nothing very high-tech about the way I do it -- my DVR doesn't' have any digital output, so I just run the analog component video output, along with analog audio output into my DVD recorder. It's going from digital to analog and back to digital, but the recordings actually look pretty good. Of course I'm recording in real time, so it takes two hours. I just start the game, and hit record and turn off the TV and go to bed.

Another source for the game...its the Fanzone game this week. Note however that the fanzone games are being shown later than usual on Thursday and then repeated at the same time on Friday (really early sat morning my time).
