I am not 100% sure...but couldn't he still play for Argentina in the future?

I think he can do, but he seems to have nailed his colours to the mast, even at the age of 17 he seems entirely driven by money.

Forestieri played for Italy's U-17 team and scored.. He also scored for Genoa, his club team, on his official debut. If I am correct, that was the only game he played with Genoa's first team.

That little ********er.. :D

The little f***er will probably walk out on Genoa if they don't get promoted this season. :D

If I remember my cap rules correctly he isn't entirely obligated to the Italians yet. The only for sure way he's cap tied is if his call up was for the senior team. I believe if he choses to change to Argentina, he'll have to petition FIFA for permission but he must do this before he turns 21.

From reading the wiki link, it more looks like he put his parents dreams first as opposed to his. If he's infact sincere, you cant be to hard on him for respecting his viejos.

Looks like Italy want to poach yet another Argentine Boca Juniors product for their U-21 squad.

Not only Trejo but they want Pablo Osvaldo as well .
